#10 - Virtual Farming

Are you a gamer? Good, because in today's world, you can also make money playing your games! Virtual Farming is where you play a game, find what the currency is in that game, which would be gold, or in some cases "items." You find these items, or gold, and collect them up and sell them for real money. This would be like selling pixels for money. Your profit margin would be like 100% almost, because all you need is a computer, your game, electricity, and internet connect, which you would have all of that stuff anyways.

Some games to look into:

Diablo 3
World of Warcraft
Second Life
Runescape

How to sell you items would be totally up to you to figure out. Some people used to sell Diablo 2 items on ebay until they banned it. Then they started their own websites and created "item stores" which sold the goods and even had a checkout cart, plus 24/7 customer service. They pay for the item, and will deliver the item to you virtually within a few hours, or in some cases minutes.

All in all this is a real neat idea for you to try out. As I'm writing this article, I have the old ball rolling, thinking about it myself :).

#9 - Yard Sale

Money Making Tip #8 - Yard Sale:

I'm sure you have already thought of the idea of having a yard sale to make extra money. The question is, how much thought did you really put into it? Take a walk around your house, in your closet, through your garage, or out buildings. Are you ever going to use those things again? Do you really need it? 

Here some idea's on how to sort though the things you want to keep, versus the things you wouldn't mind getting rid of.

• Tear everything out and put them on one big pile.
• Sort through everything, item by item. Sort them into 2 piles, the keeps, and the items you wish to sell.
• Start sifting though the items you want to sell, and start pricing everything in your head.

Now to sell the items. Everyone is familiar with the traditional yard sale, where you put everything out on the front lawn and hope someone driving by wants to buy your items. You can still do it that way, but now with the internet, you have other ways to do it as well. 

1. Ebay - List your small items to sell on ebay. Keep the shipping low, or free!
2. Craigslist - Craigslist is free to post and sell your items. Most everything is "local" pickup.
3. Facebook - Search for your area on Facebook and see what "groups" they have. In my area they have "Community Yard Sale" groups where you can upload a picture and others will ask what you want for the item.
4. Classifieds - I'm sure you have a newspaper or something in your area where you can post classifieds for free. Check out your local gas stations for the papers.

Get rid of all your stupid junk that you will never use again, and pay off some of those dang bills! Or better yet...fill your gas tank up to the top!

Learn how to design blog templates. Blogging has become popular, even more popular than "forums" that have information or "howto" topics because in a forum, they would have to search through hundreds or in some cases "thousands" of posts just to find the answer they were looking for. The good thing about blogs for this type of information is you can organize these "posts" into categories and make it easy to link to them for others to find with minimal effort.

So what does this have to do with blog templates? Nothing really, just comparing a blog to a forum..thats all. But anyways, there are alot of bloggers out there. Most of those bloggers have very little knowledge of web design, coding, or SEO. These bloggers are writers looking to get traffic, sell ad space, and earn revenue. They will pay for a good blog template, if you can customize it to there needs.

What to do:

1. Buy a domain and web space from iPage.com (cheaper-$25 for a blog)
2. Build your blog to advertise your business, make it attractive and make people want to do something when they get to your blog, "call to action."
3. Write articles on how to create blog templates, make videos, whatever you can do to get content on your blog.
4. Submit your blog to search engines.
5. People will come to your website looking for information on how to create a blog template. Once they follow your tutorials, make sure you have ads beside them advertising your service. After they get frustrated, which they will, they will click on your link and see what you have got to offer, and how much it is.
6. If the price is reasonable, you will be in business! To learn how to make templates for different software, just google for tutorials. Here are a few software programs that have a need for profession templates that people would want to buy.

Now two of the above software are not free and require a yearly license. Those would be vBulletin, and Invision Power Board. Wish you success and would like to read your results.
